Mobeen Reza for golf at kelly and basketball
I wouldnt consider Cumbo a future star since he is an upcoming senior, he is good though, I saw Nick Robinson tonight and he is as at least 6 feet tall and only in the 7th grade...ssshhheeewwww I dont know if I can wait 2 more years or not.
i think cumbo is a better LB than G but last year was his first year ever playing that postion
I was 6'2 in the seventh grade and I haven't grown since LoL
which one do u not agree with ???
my last post was for wave10s
jaymil sensabaugh and coleman for burton
Josh Miles from Burton!
i think Evan Sturgill Will be pretty good in Golf!!
Nick Jennings and Burrhead Nixon for baseball in Coeburn!!!
I have got to say that the Derek Robbins kid from Clintwood is going to be a player to watch on the basketball court and football field. Kid has alot of talent! Good luck in seasons to come!!!!
i have heard some about him maybe even starting QB as a freshman if its the same one that u r talking about
I think you're talking about Chris Robinson.
delmas lawson will be a good athlete
yeah chris robinson that is who i am thinking about
Isaiah McAmis!
Is he related to Coach McAmis at Kelly?
Yeah it's his son.
If he's the little guy that runs out with the team I agree. He can dribble the ball and not have to look at it. I told someone at the Kelly/GC tournament game that he would be a good one when he got in high school. I think it was great the way the Kelly kids would lift he up in the huddle when they came onto the court.
Yup that's the kid. He's gonna be good. Heck, he already is.
well i think that Drew Hubbard will be one of the best linebackers in the LPD next year.. he is an excellent athlete..GL in years to come
Will Hubbard will be special to watch in Baseball in about 7 or 8 years.
Better be watching out for tyler garrison aka: stick that plays in the Jr Viking league, he`s going to make a good PG, will be one to watch!!!
Chris Strouth from pound Andrew adkins from Coeburn I think that Chris Strouth will be a great Football Player and then i think another person who could be a great player in football other than drew hubbard that is a sophmore Will Mays he has the Strenght and the Heart But he needs to get a meener streak in him but you better watch out for some of these boys in the future. Andrew adkins from coeburn is going to be a hell of a basketball player
garrison ''stick'' in basketball at pv, and in football hes small but he will hit you,
the pinkston twins from pv, malcolm is pretty big and in 8th grade, and miron isnt to small either
i dont know about anyone else from other schools
i think nick and chris robinson dakota cantrell devin dotson the pinkstons and a few more
Not sure about other schools in the LPD, but both Robinson boys & Miles Osborne for the Wave should make strong showing in upcoming years on the gridiron.
Pinkston twins, did one play guard for the PV JV Basketball team?
Yea
Malcolm was # 12.
The current 6th grade class has numerous multi-sport athletes and if they stay together will be very good when they get to Gate City High. Tyler Bird (son of JV basketball coach), Dusty and Seth Clark (twin brothers of Nate Clark), Austen Arnold (Mom played at GC and Dad played at Sullivan North and Florida State University), Logan Byrd, Wes Hughes, Nick Bright & Jake Kendrick to name a few. When blended with the current 7th grade, should be a very, very special group. Can't wait until they wear the Blue and White.
Best future players in bball will be Matt Dotson from Wise, Andrew Adkins and #20 from Coeburn, Cedric Mitchell and Delmas Lawson from PV and Burton also has a couple of excellant players but I don't know their names. From Gate City you have Jamie Hackney, Tyler Parks, Tihlee Anderson, Steven Williams and Cody Salyer who are all freshmen. I hear the Pinkston twins are transferring to GC too. What a team they will have.
It sure looks like GC has the athletes for the next 6 years to continue the tradition if they'll just put the work into it. I have no doubt they'll do just that.
There's a few good freshmen from Appalachia that I can name...Appalachia had 4 startin' both ways for football and Leedy started a lot of games this past basketball season. Baseball, they have a few good players that should be starting, and three good pitchers that are freshmen..
I heard the pinkston twins are thinking about transfering to Burton for basketball...i've also heard that coach campbell is related to them(jv basketball coach)..is there any truth to this?
I don't know. I heard GC, but they would be better off to stay where they are. Playing time will be hard to come by at GC or Burton. From what I have seen the next few years in bball will belong to GC, PV and Burton. They just have too much talent.
Yeah refuse2lose the 6th grade class will be something special,If these kids stay together these kids will be fun to watch,I cant wait untial they start wearing the big blue colors.
evan sturgill in golf and david herron and dustin fleming in basketball
that is if david herron stays out of trouble
nick roop for baseball from pound
I will definetely agree about Evan Sturgill in golf...to be as young as he is, he can sure play golf...We played the other day and he was playig with his dad so we let them play through and he out drove my uncle on a hole by about 15 yards...i was like wow!!!...b/c my uncle is really good at golf...
Yeah Coach campbell is their cousin...
Ive been wanting to watch these Pinkston boys play football will they be on Varsity next year? if so do you all think they have a chance to start/recieve significant playing time
